This textile company was incorporated in a small town in 1872. The site was chosen because of the good traffic connection and no pollution. The water in the area was free of calcium and iron, which was important for the production. The decline in sales started with the Indochina war and continued throughout the deconolization. The plant changed owners several times, but never revived. The inventory had been sold in 2004.
