Ghost Bus Tunnel

This huge tunnel, underneath a Belgian city, is full of old cars, busses and trams. The tunnel was supposed to become a metro tunnel, but it was never finished. The tunnel is probably 2km long, and it was pitch-black dark when we took our photos there.

Shortly before we wanted to leave, the lights turned on and people entered. We hid behind the cars for about 10 minutes. Was this the police? We didn't want to end up in Belgian jail, so we remained silent. After a while we figured out if was just random people, maybe homeless, who turned the lights on and enjoyed the warmth and drought during this cold winter time.

I liked the scenery more in the dark, even though it took way longer to take pictures :)
