Bahnbetriebswerk A.

The railyard A. was put into service in 1893. In the 1950s, over 100 steam engines were stored here. Until the close-down in 1988, diesel and electric locomotives have been maintained on the site. The two roundhouses were supposed to be demolished in 2006, those plans have been canceled. To avoid vandalism, the entrances to the roundhouses have been locked.
