Solbad Bad Friedrichshall

Opened in 1862, this was the first brine bath in Germany. Doctor W. was the first in the country to find out about the healing and bracing impact of brine. In the beginning, 300 children could be accommondated each year. After some structural changes the average occupancy climbed up to 1600 children per year.

The inventory and personell of the brine bath have moved into a new building in 2015.

The buildings should have been demolished already by the end of 2016, for 12 new buildings counting 120 apartments. I don't think they'll be up for much longer.
