Park-Krankenhaus Leipzig

Opened in 1901, this psychiatric hospital is known for quite some terrible history.

From 1934 to 1939 almost 600 people have been forced to sterilization in this hospital. During National Socialism, people with mental- and physical handicaps have been systematically killed here. In 1999, the clinic was privatized and finally sold in 2009 because of a newly constructed building on a site that combined several clinics.

The place was pretty crowded, because it's inside of some kind of public park very and vandalized inside. There was only one building we could enter, all the other (maybe 20) houses carefully locked down. Inside this one building me and my friend were being followed (chased?). We ran as fast as possible, heard chains snicking, someone ran, maybe with a dog. We ran faster. Hid in a toilet, where I almost suffered a cardiac arrest, because I literally thought I'd be killed. I told my friend how much I loved her, and that I am going to die now (yes, I did that..) Well, there was nobody in the end???? At least we weren't killed, or found, neither did we hear anymore footsteps at some point.

I don't believe in ghosts or paranormal experiences AT ALL, but this stuff seriously left me speechless. Back outside through the basement, no more exploring today.
